Rump steak is a great choice because it’s tender enough to be cooked quickly without having to marinate or tenderize for any length of time.
If you do wantto tenderise the meat though, here’s a great way to do it:
1/ Dissolve baking soda in water (for every 350g of meat, use 1 teaspoon of baking soda and ½ cup of water).
2/ Soak the meat in the solution for at least 15 minutes.
3/ Remove and rinse thoroghly.
4/ pat dry with a paper towel.
5/ season and cook at a high temperature.
